Your basket and saved laundries

The calculator runs in your browser. Basket weight, service, area search and comparison choices are held in the current page’s memory and are not submitted to a Basketwise form or application server. Avoid typing a full collection address into the area search.

The site uses browser local storage, under the key basketwise-saved, to remember up to three saved provider IDs. It does not store your name, email, address or basket weight in that saved list. The list remains on that browser and site address until you remove the providers or clear the site’s browser data. Clearing browser data may also remove other settings. If storage is unavailable, saving can last only for the current visit.

Cookies, ads and analytics

This release includes no advertising scripts, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, third-party fonts or embedded booking forms. The application does not set cookies. Saving provider IDs is the browser-storage feature described above.

Google ownership-verification meta tags may be present. These are passive HTML values: they do not load advertising or analytics scripts. Advertising will be a separate change after approval and the required privacy and consent arrangements are ready. This page will be updated before those changes are activated.

Cloudflare hosting

The public site is served through Cloudflare Pages. Delivering and securing a website requires the host to process connection and request information, which can include IP addresses, traffic data and technical browser or system information. This is separate from the calculator’s browser-only processing.

Cloudflare describes its handling of visitor information in its Privacy Policy. We do not promise a fixed hosting-log retention period or that hosting involves no personal-data processing.

Email enquiries and corrections

Preparing or copying an enquiry happens in your browser. Choosing an email link opens your email application with a draft; it does not send a message automatically. Your email provider, the recipient and their service providers process a message only if you choose to send it.

If you email albervos@proton.me, the Albervos project receives your sender details, message and any attachments. We use that information to answer you, investigate corrections or handle privacy requests. The contact mailbox uses Proton Mail; see Proton’s Privacy Policy. Messages and related correspondence may remain in the mailbox while needed for these purposes. No fixed automatic deletion period is promised.

Please request deletion or correction of correspondence using the contact address. We will review the request and explain any information that must be retained. You can also remove saved providers yourself or clear this site’s browser storage.

External operators and public source information

Following an operator link takes you to that operator’s service and privacy practices. Basketwise does not control their collection forms, messaging tools, fees or handling of addresses. The downloadable directory contains public operator and source information, not visitor basket data.
